Coaching Courses

Smashing Tours will be pleased arrange at your convenience a residential coaching course over a weekend at The National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes.

The weekend will include:

• One or Two Nights Hotel Accommodation inc Breakfast
• 12 Hours Coaching
• 3 Hours Coaching with current England player
• All Court Fees & Shuttles
• Chinese Meal on Saturday Night (Drinks Extra)

Available all year round, subject to a Minimum of 8 and Maximum of 16 people.

Costs £120.00 per person with one night accommodation and £165.00 per person with two nights accommodation.

Coaches

Sara Sankey

One of England's most capped players with 98 England caps to her name. Sara is multi-medal winning athlete in her own right, with her most memorable achievements being a Badminton Team Gold Medal and a Mixed Doubles Bronze Medal at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester 2002 just before retiring. Sara has also played for Team GB at the Barcelona Olympics.

Having now retired from competitive Badminton, Sara now coaches for many schools in the Thames Valley Region, and for individuals and group coaching from her home base at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes

In 1991 Sara along with Gill Gowers was World ranked No 2 in Ladies Doubles. Mother of Sophie Sankey ranked England's No 1, U13 Girls Singles and Scott Sankey ranked England's No 22, Men's Singles.

Nick Kidd

The English National Badminton Champion 2006 in Men's Singles. Currently ranked No 3 in England.

Tracy Hallam

Ranked England's No 1 in Womens Singles.
